FLEXIBLE HOSE ASSEMBLIES

The HA range of lightweight, highly flexible hoses are manufactured from a 2 ply wall of thermoplastic rubber, reinforced with axial and helical yarns and supported by a thermoplastic coated steel spring helix. Cuffed ends in santoprene material are injection moulded on to the hose to achieve a one-piece totally leak free assembly.

These cuffs are available in a continually increasing range of sizes and provide the unique ability to reduce of increase the connecting dimension within the actual hose length, thus eliminating many extra costly and bulky components. As an additional advantage, subject to tooling availability, cuffs can be either plain or have a clip retention facility for increased security and speed of assembly.

The complete assemblies have good oil and chemical resistance with excellent weathering and ageing properties and the ability to withstand temperatures from -20�C to +130�C in 20�C ambient. Flame resistance meets MVSS302 <100mm per minute burn rate. These hose assemblies are therefore ideally suited to a wide variety of a engine and compressor applications.
