AP "Bowl & Bolt" Type Oil & Fuel Filter Assemblies
Following a product rationalisation program and re-location of their manufacturing facilities in 2004, Sogefi Filtration (Coopers Division) reached an agreement with Master Filtration Limited, whereby independently, Master Filtration undertook the manufacture of a limited range of the original AP “Bowl & Bolt “ type, oil & fuel filter assemblies.
Our Letchworth facilities now produce the standard assemblies as detailed below, but additionally hold extensive stocks of spares, including replacement elements, to suit both these standard assemblies manufactured and also other AP filter types contained within what was originally a very extensive product range.
Because of the commonality of certain components and the production equipment used, it is sometimes possible to produce other “variants” of complete filter assemblies and associated sub-components, relief valve assemblies etc. that although once readily available, would have otherwise have now become obsolete.
Please contact our Sales Department for up-to-date availability and pricing.

AP Standard Oil & Fuel Filter Assemblies
STANDARD OIL FILTER ASSEMBLIES
All AP liquid assemblies employ an aluminium alloy head casting with provision for alternative thread connections and mounting points. The filter element is retained in a steel bowl secured to the head by means of a bottom fixing centre bolt.
Filtration is based on a range of resin impregnated pleated paper elements.
Most assemblies are protected by a full flow relief valve to avoid damage to both the element and the system it protects, however, if this feature is not required, models without relief valves may be available

STANDARD FUEL FILTER ASSEMBLIES
All AP liquid assemblies employ an aluminium alloy head casting with provision for alternative thread connections and mounting points. The filter element is retained in a metal bowl secured to the head by means of a bottom-fixing centre bolt.
Filtration is based on a range of resin impregnated pleated paper elements.
AP standard fuel filter assemblies cover a range of applications including marine and agricultural duties where small flow rates require only simple filtration units, to commercial vehicles, off-highway and plant equipment which demand larger flows.
